Andrea Oberto
Barolo DOCG Rocche Dell 'Annunziata 2015
“With fruit from La Morra, the Andrea Oberto 2015 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata reveals dark fruit character with summer cherry, dried currant, spice, tar and licorice. This wine shows a different inner engineering (compared to the Barolo Albarella) with more power and a more defined tannin backbone. The results are angular and edgy, and this Barolo definitely needs more cellar time to flesh out and soften. A mere 3,800 bottles were made.”
