“The 2022 Twelve Clones was aged in 36% new French oak for 9 months and pours a medium ruby-blue core with a light purple rim in the glass. Purple flowers and rich Marionberries hit the nose up front, while secondary notes of sweet baking spices, cedary herbs, and baked red raspberries play second fiddle. It finished with lovely vanilla bean and blue fruit tones alongside moderate acidity and sweet tannins.”
