Light bright red. Lively, smoke-accented red berry, candied rose, vanilla and allspice scents display very good clarity and lift. Sweet and energetic in style, offering spice-tinged raspberry, cherry-vanilla and spicecake flavors that spread out slowly on the back half. Closes supple and sweet, with building spiciness and fine-grained tannins that add shape and subtle grip. 40% new French oak.
