Tasting Notes

Delightfully aromatic scents of cracked pepper, purple raspberries and crushed violets emerge on the nose of Paritua's 2018 Syrah. It's medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins, plenty of color and concentration and a bright, refreshing, fruit-driven finish that makes it easy to drink now, although it should age well for at least another few years. It doesn't have the granite-mineral core or savory notes of a top Saint-Joseph, but it's in that mold.
