The 2018 Val de Montferrand Roussanne contains tiny bits of Viognier and Marsanne but is dominated by the pineapple and honey notes of ripe Roussanne. It's medium-bodied, with a plump, slightly viscous feel but a clean, crisp, unoaked finish. It's a lovely example of this variety, which doesn't often get a chance to shine solo.
