A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, Paritua's top-of-the-line 2018 21•12 boasts delicate floral-herbal notes that beautifully accent blackcurrant and black cherry fruit. Hints of vanilla and dark chocolate flit by as well in this medium to full-bodied wine that's generous yet streamlined, plush yet structured. Almost creamy in texture, it lingers, with a touch of velvet, on the long finish. Despite carrying about 50% new wood, it doesn't come across as oaky, just polished to a glossy sheen, letting the fruit shine.
