Tasting Notes

The 2018 Alvarinho Dom Diogo, tasted a little over two months after bottling, comes in at 13% alcohol. It also comes in with six grams of total acidity and four grams of residual sugar. It is perceptibly dry, although a long way from austere, and has no added carbonation. A friendly Alvarinho, this is lighter styled and not overly energetic, but it tastes great and it does everything respectably well. It walks down the middle of the road. Drink this on the younger side, when you'll enjoy it the most. There were 1,000 cases produced from 15-year-old vines.
