    V.S. Bas Armagnac Decanter

    France, Bas-Armagnac

    Armagnac

60% Ugni-blac, 40% Baco. Natural color is obtained exclusively from barrel aging.

Distilling Process: Single continuous distillation, grape variety by grape variety. Two traditional alambics heated by wood fire (recycled wood stakes from the estate's vineyards).

    Aging:
Aged in oak barrels at least 3 years. Barrels are lightly toasted and made from French timber forests renowned for their fine grain.

    Tasting Note:
A beautiful amber shade of antique gold. The bouquet is of caramel and spice with notes of toast and cinnamon. On the palate, a bold opening is dominated by pepper and orange zest with blonde caramel and notes of roasted apple. A wonderful warmth, free of any harshness and rounded off with a touch of chocolate and liquorice.
