Brewery Overview
Since 1857, Stevens Point Brewery, the home of Ciderboys, has been operating in central Wisconsin. It even survived Prohibition by selling “near-beer” and soft drinks. In 2012, it added a new category to its portfolio with the addition of Ciderboys Hard Ciders. The first flavors were Ciderboys First Press, Strawberry Magic, and seasonal flavors Cranberry Road and Mad Bark. In 2013, Ciderboys introduced seasonal flavor Peach County, and Stevens Point Brewery expanded its operation thanks to strong sales of the brand. The very next year, Ciderboys launched its popular variety pack, offering five different flavors in one colorful easy-to-transport box. Pineapple Hula was then introduced as a summer seasonal, and Grand Mimosa winter cider followed. After receiving six gold medals by Tastings.com in 2016, Ciderboys was also named the Grand National Champion of the US Open Cider Championships. Two years later, Blackberry Wild was introduced. New seasonal flavors have been added since, and Ciderboys remains a choice cider brand. All Ciderboys products are naturally gluten free.
