    Winery Overview

In the heart of a fruitful land with a wine-growing vocation, Borgo Savaian extends across 27.5 hectares of vineyards, flanking Monte Quarin. Here, the indigenous varieties are the undisputed protagonists, the precious diamonds of our territory. The Collio soil – known as ponca – blends with the top gravels of the Friulian plain, creating a unique soil that gives our wines an extraordinary sensory profile marked by intense aromas and fragrances in the whites and structure and substance in the reds aged in oak barrels. Our quest for quality begins in the vineyards, cultivated with the utmost dedication and care. We use the traditional cappuccina system for 3,000 vines per hectare in conjunction with the guyot system for 6,000 vines per hectare, both designed to guarantee top-quality grapes. Vineyard management techniques such as dry trimming and green pruning allow us to obtain perfect bunches at harvest. Precision and constant commitment in our work allows us to preserve and enhance every nuance of the sensory profile of our wines, from vineyard to bottle. Borgo Savaian is much more than a winery – it is a place where passion for the land and a love of wine meet, creating thrilling experiences for everyone who tastes our wines.
