Winery Overview
A partnership between Arnaud Combier, Francois de Nicolay of Chandon de Briailles (Savigny), Jeff Carrel, this estate delivers exceptional wines from distinct Beaujolais appellations. Harvested manually from “en goblet” vines. Traditional fermentation 7-14 days with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks. No additions in vinification (sulfites, enzymes, etc). Settled in small French oak barrels for 2-4 months. Matured in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. Minimal sulfur is added at bottling.

Tasting Notes
The wine has structure and richness. Together, they give density, ripe tannins and a juicy black-cherry quality to this fine wine. While the wine is young, it has swathes of fruit and structure. It is rich and ready to drink after 2-3 years of bottle ageing.
