Winery Overview
Santa Vincenza is located in Maremma, at the southernmost part of Tuscany along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The vineyards are situated in one of the best areas of the Morellino di Scansano DOCG on gently sloping hillsides facing south and southwest towards the Mediterranean. The winery Poggio Argentiera, owners of Santa Vincenza, was founded in 1997 with the purchase of the farm called Adua. In the original six acres, the winery started to produce Morellino di Scansano. In 2001, the property was expanded through the purchase of another farm called Keeling, nestled in the hills, in the municipality of Scansano. Today the winery has 22 hectares in DOCG Morellino.
