Winery Overview
Lyle Thomas was created by Regal's owners Charlie Trivinia and Dan Bada. The goal of the brand is to offer affordable California classics, primarily from Lodi and Mendocino. Vineyards in Lodi are planted with some of California’s favorite varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon. Mendocino, a Northern California appellation encompassing both warmer and cooler-climate American Viticultural Areas, offers a range of varietals including Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon within its ten AVAs.
Lyle Thomas pays homage to Regal employees through its name, which are the middle names of two longtime Regal team members.

Tasting Notes
The nose is spicy and dark, with aromas of espresso, black plum, black currant, and deeply charred sweet oak. In the mouth, the wine is rich with dark chocolate covered cherries, freshly ground coffee, layered with broad but supple tannins. The long finish is perfumed with fresh vanilla bean.
