This unique Rosato is made from the native Sicilian Nerello Mascalese grape known for it’s expressive aromatics and spice. The Nerello Mascalese stock was taken by Aurelio Di Giovanna from a 100 year old vineyard in Noto, Eastern Sicily where the vine has it’s origins.
The Rosato di Nerello Mascalese is pale strawberry in color with fragrant notes of violet, bright red cherry and red currants. It is round and soft in texture, with a mineral and refreshing finish.
All indigenous, all organic, all stainless steel fermented and elevaged Grillo.
Wild quince and citrus fruit, minimal notes of white peaches and ending with lemon zest.
Ultra ripe Syrah and gutsy Nero d’Avola come together for this proprietor’s label.
Candied cherry and red fruit mix, spicy notes for a long and pleasant finish.
