Château Pierrail – 2015 – Bordeaux Supérieur tasted 100% blind by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
Dense dark purple colour. Pure, ripe and youthful nose, floral and dark fruity with crushed black currant and plum notes with a slight touch of vanilla and new wood. The palate is rather dense, still youthful but ripe tannin, generous dark fruit notes, a fresh backbone and long steady finish. A bit youthful but well balanced with good drinkability and generous fruit.
